ABSTRACT
Introduction:
Health is a fundamental value of every human being. Individualized health behaviors, acquired during socialization, with time they become aware of the election. Therefore, the analysis of health evaluation is an important element in assessing the health awareness of university students.
Materials and methods:
The research was made upon 690 students from podkarpackie voivodeship. It was also conducted with the usage of a survey made on the basis of List of Health Criteria. All the results were later subjected towards statistical analysis.
Results:
The research found that the surveyed students of utmost importance attributed to health as "property", "process" and "objective" and health as a "state" and "result" takes a little more space. Be healthy in the opinion of the respondents are primarily "not to feel any physical ailments", "to have a smooth all parts of the body", "able to get along with other people", "accept yourself, know your options and deficiencies" and "feel good", and "live to a ripe old age." In contrast, less important "feel happy most of the time", "to be able to enjoy life" and "no smoking" and "duly to eat."
Conclusions:
Assessing the significance and evaluation of health is an important element in assessing the health awareness of students. Determination deficits health behavior of young people studying enables you to separate the students who should be included in education in the field of health promotion.
