The authors justify the purposefulness of comparative survey studies of
general mental condition of selected groups of people in diff erent countries. The average strength of the psychological condition aff ect the ability to overcome social problems and also infl uence health. They developed a questionnaire in three languages, which may be useful for international comparative research. The content of the statements of this questionnaire takes into account assumptions of a number of main recognized characteristics. The paper describes the structure of the questionnaire and presents three language versions. The authors
mention the results gained already from studies carried out using this tool and promise to present these results in their subsequent papers.
